Zoll Vineyards- Award Winning Blends

Nestled in the countryside of Dutton, Virginia you will find a 16.5-acre winery estate called Zoll Vineyards. This venue is less than 20 minutes from Gloucester Main Street and allows for travelers to see a quaint part of the county away from the everyday hustle and bustle.  Outdoor seating, a tasting room,  and a large event space make up this hidden gem. Our tourism coordinator had the privilege of touring the winery this week.

“My lunch plate created by Chef Zoll was one of the best I have had in a long time. The combination of ingredients was phenomenal. The tasting room was so beautiful, and the small details are really what caught my attention. I hope sharing this experience will spark our visitors to make the trip to Zoll Vineyards” – Susan Ammons

The tasting room/restaurant is so aesthetically appealing. Wine barrel walls, a beautiful high-top bar, and plenty of booth seating allows plenty of room for your wine tasting. Lining the walls of the room you will see all the blends created by Vinter Frank Zoll, each with an award around their necks. Wine, Sangria, Cider, and Mead make up the combinations of beverages you can enjoy.

When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside in the dog-friendly space that overlooks the vineyard.

Chef Zoll gave us a tour of the grounds and we were surprised when entering The Great Room, that most definitely lives up to the name. This would be a fantastic location for a reception, company party, live music event, or just a large family get together.

On top of wine tastings, Zoll Vineyards offer events and classes throughout the year. One being their “Wine on the River” excursion. Zoll has partnered with Tip-Sea Charters to offer a relaxing cruise down the Piankatank River… with drinks! Other events/classes include live music, comedy shows, art classes, magic shows and more!

If you are planning a trip to Gloucester, Virginia we recommend adding Zoll Vineyards to your itinerary.
