In honor of National Trails Day, we will do a CLASSIC/REVERSE  FULL HIKE.  You have a choice of hiking from Fary’s Mill Road (FMR) to Roaring Springs Road (RSR) or RSR to FMR!  Hikers should cross somewhere in the middle during this hike!  If you choose to hike from FMR to RSR arrive at RSR 7:45 am.  If you choose to hike from FMR to RSR arrive at FMR at 8:15 am.  The shuttle bus will leave RSR at 8:00 with hikers, travel to FMR to deliver hikers, then pick up hikers and transport them back to RSR.  Make you choice in the prompts of which hike to participate in.

This self-guided hike is approximately 9 miles and is roughly 3 hours (at a 4 miles/hour pace).  But you will be distracted by the lake, the wildlife, the beauty of the forest and the sounds of nature.  Take your time, take it all in, just complete your hike by 5:30 pm and check out at the Ranger Station (in-person or by phone 804-693-2107).
