Following on the heels of General Lafayette’s triumphant Farewell Tour (1824-1825), we find him communing, as he often did, with his dear departed wife, Adrienne. They share with us their thoughts, their reminiscences, and their love.

Meet The Cast:

Adrienne Lafayette - Alisa Dupuy

Alisa Dupuy, a retired Princeton Public Schools French teacher and founder of The Ladies of History, brings nearly 40 dynamic shows to life. Through first-person portrayals of iconic women like Queen Victoria, Martha Washington, and Clara Barton, she reveals the private lives and lasting impact of history’s overlooked heroines.

Gilbert Lafayette - Michael Halpert

Michael Halbert, a retired U.S. defense intelligence officer with 37 years of international service, is an accomplished historical interpreter. Fluent in French and decorated with France’s Ordre National du Mérite, he portrays figures such as Lafayette, Rochambeau, and von Steuben across the nation including at Mount Vernon, Jamestown, and Yorktown.
