There will be a Kids Fun Run ( 800M dash) before the 5k that will start at 9:30AM. This is the perfect event to enter if you love coming to the park or have been wanting to visit! The park is a beautiful area to explore and get in a few miles!
All race proceeds help fund the restoration of the Timberneck House, the c.1800 Catlett family home overlooking the York River in Machicomoco State Park. The Timberneck House is undergoing renovation to become a place for learning, lodging, and exploring Virginia's Middle Peninsula.
