Norfolk Botanical Gardens are Virginia's largest botanical gardens! Some of the October blooms include American Beauty Berry, Blue Mist Flower, Flying Dragon and Lion’s Tale. We also have the option of taking a tram tour. This 175-acre garden is home to 53 distinctive themed gardens, 95 species of birds and 30 kinds of butterflies. There are rotating food trucks for lunch, or you may want to bring your own.
Dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and wear walking shoes.
Meet at the parking lot behind County Office Building 1 - 6467 Main Street - the "old Daily Press Building."
