Celebrating Gloucester’s Veterans - Second Sunday Series

Join us at the Historic Buck’s Store in Guinea on November 10th for an inspiring community event honoring local veterans and their families. This free, family-friendly program includes a panel discussion featuring local veterans and spouses who will share their personal experiences, reflections, and stories of service.

Come together to celebrate and honor the bravery and dedication of Gloucester’s veterans in this heartfelt gathering of remembrance and gratitude.

This program is presented by the Gloucester 250th Committee in partnership with The Guinea Heritage Association & Historic Bucks Store & Museum.

The Gloucester Woman’s Club Presents “Waiting for Washington” at the Historic Edge Hill House.

Christmastide is a time when families gather and there is nothing more Lady Washington wants than to have her General home from the War. Join Martha Washington and her daughter-in-law, Eleanor, in December of 1783, as they wait for the General and discuss Christmastide traditions, family, and Eleanor’s marriage to David Stuart.

The Gloucester250 Committee, in partnership with the Gloucester Woman’s Club, invites you to attend this free and family friendly holiday event featuring food, beverages, and entertainment straight out of the 18th century.
