Welcome To Gloucester, Virginia

Welcome to our little slice of heaven!

Gloucester County offers something for everyone. This area is rich in history and showcases historical locations all throughout the county. Take our Main Street for example. The five buildings that make up the historic courthouse circle sit right in the middle of Main Street. This makes for the perfect location to start your Main Street stroll. The Gloucester Museum of History houses many exhibits that tell the story of this land and those who have lived here before us.

Gloucester loves to support local business owners. You will be able to tell by walking down Main Street or driving down Route 17. From boutique shops to unique dining options, the business owners of Gloucester really make it the best place to find gifts on your trip & a hearty meal.

Main Street is certainly a highlight of Gloucester! There is a local brewery, plenty of shopping options, delicious restaurants, beautiful murals ( 5 to be exact!), and a peaceful place to take a stroll.

This area has plenty to do for children and adults. Gloucester has 7 parks all with something different to offer & 5 rivers that are absolutely beautiful anytime during the year. Beaverdam Park is our most popular park located right off of Main Street. This park contains a 635 acre lake that is perfect for fishing, kayaking, boating, etc. There are hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, playgrounds, and programs happening all year long!
